Bring more balance into your life! This routine will help you to get centered, as you use your core to support you.TREE POSEPlace most of your weight on your left leg and draw your right heel to the inner thigh of the left leg. Steady your gaze and connect with your breath. Keep the right knee turning out, and gently tuck your tailbone, as you extend out throughout the crown of the head. With the hands in prayer position, press the palms together, at the same time press the inner thigh and the sole of the foot together. Extend a line of energy all the way through the top of the head down through the standing leg.STANDING PIGEONWithout lowering the bent leg, cross the right ankle over the left thigh, just above the left knee. Slowly bend the standing leg and sit your hips back, being mindful of the balance. Breathe here, then press back to standing.WARRIOR 3Again, without lowering the right foot, if possible, uncross your leg and extend your arms out in front of you and tip forward as you bring your right leg behind you. Lengthen your entire body so that your torso and your right leg are parallel to the floor. Keep your gaze focused and breathe.STANDING SPLITSNow, looking down, bring both hands to the floor, rotating your torso so that your hips are squared, and you are folding forward over the left leg. Your right leg should still be lifted. Walk the hands in closer to the foot and try to bring the upper body closer to the right leg. Continue to lift the right leg up as much as possible.FORWARD FOLDLower the right leg and bring the feet together or slightly apart. Allow the backs of the legs, hamstrings, calves, and achilles to open up here. Allow the blood to flow to your head, increasing the blood flow to the brain. Just continue to breathe here. If you like, grab opposite elbows and keep dangling down. 5-10 breaths here.SWITCH SIDESwww.mandyingber.com Posted on October 10, 2015 by admin

happy birthday #tbt to my grandfather. Sasha aka Sam pictured here on the right with my mother, maternal great-grandmother, bubbie Sonia and my uncle coming to America from post-war Germany. He was a true hero. He had a beat on what was happening in Poland and survived his mother, sister and four brothers who were murdered in the war. Sasha fought in the underground resistance, ended up in Russia working on a rescue team in the coal mines where my grandmother worked. She claims when she first met him, he rode up to her on a white horse. He loved his work , building precision parts for planes and rocket ships. Sossee used to take me for neighborhood walks, smelled like onions and loved the ocean. He is missed to this day, but lived a good honest life until age 80. Happy Birthday, Sos. "The Warrior of the Light is a believer.Because he believes in miracles, miracles begin to happen. Because he is sure that his thoughts can change his life, his life begins to change. Because he is certain that he will find love, love appears."Paulo Coelho, Warrior of the Light#warriorwednesday Posted on October 9, 2015 by admin
new blogspot is up #innerbeauty "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."— Audrey HepburnAs a young girl I looked to my mother as the icon of beauty. I always noticed that she was appealing and charismatic. Men would stop her on the street, women would start chatting with her at the grocery store and all my friends wanted her to hang out with us. She was really quite something. My father, being a bit crass gave her the nickname Audrey Heartburn. Nice. One thing that I did recognize about my mother was that she would tend to look on the bright side of things, and give others the benefit of the doubt. If I came home from a confrontation with a girl at school, she would remind me that perhaps the reason the other little girl was so cruel, was because she may not have it so good at home. It could be quite frustrating when I wanted to complain, or have her on my side. Looking back, I am happy that I had a mother that pointed out that I might look a little further into someone to find some compassion. Decades later, my mother became a literacy teacher to children, and was quite the popular rock star. Kids would beg their parents to allow them to be tutored, even if they were doing well in school. Mom was in demand. She played with and entertained the kids, one of them was quite disappointed when he found out she was not his age and he would not be able to marry her. It was a lesson she taught to a little girl ,Luah, who was not in the spotlight next to her friend who was being complimented on her beautiful dress. Luah was a little upset and asked "what about mine?" My mother noticed this and told her that there is such a thing as "inner beauty." Did she know what that was? And proceeded to share with her about goodness. What a lovely lesson, even to this day. Inner Beauty. What is it? It is a feeling towards the world. A way of looking at the world with love. It's a way of feeling touched by the gifts of nature that we can find in any given moment. For more visit my blog spot! Posted on October 9, 2015 by admin

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.BuddhaWhen my mind is a “bad neighborhood” that I should not go into by myself, I know that it is time to move my body. Breathing and coming into the present moment by focusing on a challenge is my best medicine in moments like this. Bring yourself back into balance with a balancing move like side plank. Variations: bottom knee on mat. Stagger the feet. Posted on October 4, 2015 by admin
